Eco Ethics - Kenya offers tailored individual internships for Kenyan and non-Kenyan volunteers, including accommodation, supervision and an action plan that matches their aspirations and skills. We prioritize candidates with one or more of the following:

  • Proven interest in the environment, development or community work
  • Previous study in environmental science, political science, sociology, anthropology or a related field
  • Openness to new cultures
  • A minimum commitment of one month

Our Internship program is structured to prepare and provide you with the support and guidance needed to implement successful projects in a sustainable manner. You will also gain invaluable field experience, exposure to environment and development issues, and a chance to experience life in laid back, sunny Mombasa.

  • Intern Orientation

    You will be helped to acclimate to your new surroundings to ensure a safe and comfortable entry. We provide 10 to 15 hours of basic language training during orientation

  • Comfortable Accomodation

    All interns live individually or with host families. This ensures full immersion into the local culture & provides a chance to form relationships within the community.

  • Support and Training

    With our support, You will learn about the most pressing economic, environmental, and educational related development issues and initiatives in the local region.

  • Enjoyable Experience

    Eco Ethics offers all support needed to ensure that your internship is an enjoyable experience as well as an invaluable preparation for future roles the world over.
